As we all navigate this unique and very challenging environment, I’m immensely proud of Astra’s employees and their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Astra’s products touches millions of consumers inside Tanzania and across the world every month, and our impact and commitment to improve lives has never been more evident or more critical.
That impact is felt in many ways. Here are just a few examples of how Astra is helping in the fight against COVID-19:
Enabling 350 Thousand Additional Bottles of Hand Sanitizer and Hand Soap Every Month.
Astra will enable an additional 350 thousand bottles of hand sanitizer and hand soap in Tanzania every month by increasing our production. Since early January, we have modified and expanded our production and consulted with customers to explore alternative formulation options, allowing us to triple the amount of hand sanitizer and hand soap we can supply our customers. Millions of medical personnel, patients and fellow citizens will be better protected as a result.
Astra’s Decrease Hand Sanitizer and Hand Soap prices During Pandemic Covid-19
Prices of Sanitizers and hand Soap in the world are increasing due to the increase in the demand for Freight and products. So, and not like other factories Astra decreased all her prices to let all segments of society buy Astra products and protect themselves from Covid-19.
